A few years ago we took our children to the fair. We had just spent the last 3 weeks in the hospital with my daughter who had meningitis. Times were rather difficult so they had truly become appreciative and grateful and they still are to this day. As we were getting ready to leave, my oldest daughter looked up at my sister in law with her big brown eyes and said “I feel rich!….I have everything I want! Jesus, cotton candy and a new hat….oh and my family!”
Now if that doesn’t make you smile today then I don’t know what will! Have a blessed day and find something to be thankful for…..I’m sure there is something you can think of!
