First it was gender neutral bathrooms, now they are suggesting we call our children purple penguins! Any time a society strays from God and His precepts, confusion always follows. Such has been the case in California, where teenage boys are now allowed to share bathrooms with teenage girls. In our age of reason and political correctness, many have become so wise and conceited in their own eyes that they are making foolish decisions….decisions void of the wisdom and common sense that God and His precepts upholds in a society. (Romans 1:22)
The latest example is in Lincoln Nebraska where one school is encouraging their teachers to avoid using gender terms such as “boys” and “girls”. Instead, they are suggesting the use of group names such as “purple penguins”. The “gender inclusive” educational pamphlet provided to the teachers of Lincoln Public Schools suggests that when lining students up, they should line them up by interests and hobbies instead of by gender. Teachers are asked not to use terms such as “ladies and gentlemen” or “you guys”. Instead they are to use sayings like “calling all readers” or “could all the athletes come here”.
Genesis 5:2 tells us that God created us as male and female with definite gifts, talents, and roles to play in our families as well as our societies. The devil is attacking our society at it’s very core. “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” – Psalm 11:3 People of God, pray and continue to speak the truth because the only hope for our country is Jesus. What America needs now more than ever is a revival and a return to God and His Word.
