In a world filled with stress and turmoil, sometimes we can get so distracted by the challenges and problems that come our way that we lose sight of all the many blessings that God has placed in our lives. This day, this very moment, is a blessing from God. We can waste it by focusing on what we don’t like or we can enjoy the good things that are in our lives right now. Which will you choose? The psalmist chose to rejoice and be glad. If you’re facing challenges or problems today, I challenge you to spend some time alone with The Lord, look around and realize the goodness and love of God. “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.” – Psalm 68:19
