Welcome to Jeremiah Ministry

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
~Jeremiah 29:11

About Jeremiah Ministry

We live in a world of chaos, confusion and crisis. Often there seems to be no hope.  Our purpose is to provide a place of hope, healing and truth.  We firmly believe that Jesus Christ is soon to return and that as we draw closer to His return, the state of the world will only get worse.   We're not here to give our opinions.  We're not here to tell you that everything is going to go perfectly in your life.  We're simply here to tell you that there is hope through Jesus Christ and we pray that through the devotions and posts you will find healing and truth straight from the Word of God.  We are living in the last days.....are you ready?

Verse of the Day

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” — Philippians 2:9-11 Listen to chapter Public Domain. Called with a Purpose

Suggested reading – Jeremiah 1:1-19

Just like Jeremiah, you are also full of divine potential to serve God.  You are called with a purpose.  Each of us are blessed with a gift that God has given us.  By utilizing our gifts we can fulfill His purpose in our lives.  Sometimes we can just get so overwhelmed…so bogged down with life that it’s hard to even see a purpose. We often become so consumed with ourselves that we forget that we are called to serve.  Romans 12:1 says “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sister, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship”.

Do you know what your God given gifts are?  Do you find yourself feeling like there is no purpose in your life?  We may tend to be critical of ourselves or keep company with people who may tear us down instead of encouraging us.  Sometimes we may find ourselves even envying the gifts of others.  It is important for us to remember what Paul tells us in Romans 12:6-8 “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.”  Maybe you are a born leader or an encourager.  Do you have a servants heart or are you a generous giver?  If you don’t know what your gifts are then spend some time fasting and seeking God so that you can maximize your potential for His glory.

Live your life today with purpose.  No matter how crazy or incredibly hard your situation may seem, realize that there is a purpose.  God sees the top to the puzzle box where sometimes we can only see the pieces.  It doesn’t always make sense to us but it always makes sense to Him.  Be blessed and be a blessing!

How Can I Be Saved?

How to Be Saved

Everyone needs to know how to be saved.  It’s not hard. It doesn’t take rocket science.  It’s basically as simple as ABC.  There is no person so “bad” that Jesus Christ can not forgive and change.  Salvation is free to everyone and anyone who will simply accept this gift.

salvation A – Admit
Admit to God that you are a sinner and realize that you need a Savior.  “For all have sinned and fall short  of the glory of God” (Rom. 3:23).  The result of sin is death (Rom. 6:23). Spiritual death means separation from God.  There is only one who has lived a sinless life and that was Jesus.  “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”   (1 John 1:9)

B – Believe
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved (Acts 16:31).  Believe that he died as a sacrifice for your sin and rose again on the third day.  He is the only way to God the Father- (John 14:6).  Salvation is a free gift from God and we have done nothing to deserve it.   “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John3:16). By believing on Jesus Christ and accepting his gift of salvation we can live victoriously over sin and live eternally in Heaven.

C – Confess
Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord to others. After you have received Jesus Christ into your life, share your decision with another person. Tell your pastor or a Christian friend about your decision. Following Christ’s example, ask for baptism by immersion in your local church as a public expression of your faith. “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved” (Rom. 10:9-10).

What Now?

Continue to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ.  Get involved in a Bible believing church, get water baptized (Matthew 3:13-17) and seek the baptism of the Holy Ghost (Acts 19:2-7).  Walk with Jesus Christ daily by reading the Bible and praying.  We will also be providing devotions and online Bible study’s here on our website so stay connected by subscribing to our newsletter or connect on Facebook.
